Leighton Buzzard is a traditional market town which has managed to retain its history and character whilst still meeting the demands of a busy town in the 21st century.
It is close to the M1 motorway and A5 and is served by the West Coast Main Line railway at Leighton Buzzard railway station (in Linslade). The Grand Union Canal runs through the town, alongside the River Ouzel.
