As you might expect from our name and location, our bar and restaurant specialise in fresh local seafood - though we offer a wide range of other dishes too, complemented by a comprehensive wine list. We also serve fine real ales, that you would expect from an Inn located in the village of Beer. Our cliff-top beer garden is very popular in the summer, while open fires keep our bars cosy in the colder months. This part of the country has all the right ingredients for a perfect getaway, with plenty of coastal walks, golf courses, nearby Cathedral city of Exeter, and fishing on the doorstep. The Anchor Inn provides the very best in hospitality and a warm welcome to all guests. We have 8 en-suite bedrooms, all tastefully furnished with modern amenities.Our dining areas can be adapted to meet the needs for private functions and weddings, and we can tailor the menus to suit your requirements and budget. We do not charge for the hire of this room when we are catering for the occasion.We are a family run hotel with 8 rooms including 3 family rooms and we offer good old fashioned hospitality and pride ourselves on offering a comfortable room made up to the highest standards. Every room has an en-suite and television with coffee tea making facilities.We welcome children however we do not accommodate animals.A full English Breakfast is included and a packed lunch can be provided on request for business guests or our holiday guests who would like to picnic on the Beach or in the Countryside.We offer a full restaurant service opening for breakfast at 8am - 9am. Lunch is served from 12noon to 2pm and dinner from 6pm to 9pm.The Eyre Court does not allow smoking in any of the Hotel rooms however we have designated smoking areas outside the main bar and lounge bar.We have free live music every Sunday afternoon from 4pm - 7pm in the main bar which is very popular with our locals and guests.

Swallows Eaves Hotel COLYTON
Set in the glorious countryside of East Devon, Swallows Eaves is a small, privately owned, wisteria-clad hotel set in the pretty village of Colyford, close to Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and the Jurassic coast. The hotel is set in its own grounds with ample private parking and 8 bedrooms including a ground floor room with good accessibility. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. Reeds Restaurant and Bar offers a 2 or 3 course table d'hôte menu using local seasonal produce. The restaurant is open to non-residents Tuesday to Saturday throughout the year. The hotel offers a relaxed and friendly welcome to both holidaymakers and those on business. It provides excellent facilities for group bookings - birthdays, anniversaries, small corporate functions - or exclusive use of the whole hotel and restaurant.
