The Town House Hotel is a family run Restaurant with Rooms in the small town of Markinch approx 3 miles from Glenrothes in the Historic Kingdom of Fife. The hotel was a former coaching inn which has been extensively upgraded over a number of years, with the emphasis on traditional design, comfort and great food. We have been recognised by various hotel guides for achieving the very highest standard and providing outstanding quality, warm hospitality and good value. The Hotel is run under the personal supervision of resident proprietors Harry and Lesley Bain.

Glenrothes has its own golf course, also can be played at nearby Thornton, Balbirnie and Leven. Nearest Local rail stations are Thornton with Glenrothes, Markinch and Kirkcaldy. Cot and high chair available. Nearby country walks like Falkland Hill which has a fantastic view of the countryside. Cycle rides and costal walks all within a short drive or bus journey.
