Mount Vernon Cancer Centre
The Centre treats over 4,000 new patients per annum. More than 3,000 new patients a year are treated with radiotherapy and an additional 1,500 receive chemotherapy. Cancer patients are seen initially in their local hospital by a visiting oncologist and go to Mount Vernon Hospital for specialised treatment.
