The Ty Newydd Country Hotel is set at the end of a lengthy drive off the A4059 on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The house was originally built by the coal baron, William Llewellyn, the uncle of Olympic show jumping gold medalist Sir Harry Llewellyn, who trained his horse Foxhunter here.The detached property was constructed in the 1930's as a private house.
