There is an 18 hole golf course laid out alongside the river Dee. Cycle hire is available within the village and an option to have professional guided hill walks and fishing can be arranged if sufficient notice. br / br / br / br / We are animal lovers but do not permit pets within the lodge itself. A suitable lockable habitat can be provided for your pets if sufficient notice provided. br / br / br / br / Lovely flat walks around the river or for the more adventurist Craigendarroch hill opposite the lodge giving great views of Ballater and the river Dee. br / br / br / br / The Queens Scottish residence Balmoral castle Crathie church and a Whisky Distillery is approximately 6 miles away.
