Haverigg is a small, fishing village tucked away on the very tip of the southern Cumbrian coast. It is home to the Hodbarrow RSPB Reserve, a breeding ground for three species of tern.

The village offers some unique and spectacular views of the Irish sea to the west with the splendour of the Cumbrian hills to the north and east.
