The Queens Head is proud to be considered locally as Stratford s best kept local secret mainly due to our determination to stay traditional whereas many hostelries these days go Gastro or wine bar Carol Geoff and Dan are very passionate about keeping the great British pub an ongoing institution. We offer home cooked pub grub at very reasonable prices (the hand cut chips are a must!) to suit most tastes be it a snack or one of our succulent steaks should you be celebrating a special occasion during your visit we would be happy to personally recommend one of a number of local restaurants and even make your reservation. We also offer a range of real ales draught beers wines and spirits. Our courtyard garden is known to be the best suntrap in central Stratford (when we are fortunate enough to enjoy the sun!)Where you can enjoy your food with a relaxing drink. br / br / br / br / Our bar area has an abundance of oak beams exposed brickwork and an open fire for those chilly winter evenings the bar servery is a regular topic of conversation due to a false wall being removed to reveal a forgotten inglenook fireplace with an antique cast iron cooking range.
